OUR STORY
EMMA ROSSI is traditional Italian pasta proudly made in the USA.
Tied Together
EMMA ROSSI is not a singular founder. It is an all-encompassing symbol of family. The Nobile-Olivo family from Italy embodies the true meaning that home is not a place, but rather a feeling. In this case, it’s the feeling of a full stomach after eating authentic pasta, which has been prepared the same way for several generations.
All of the family members are knit closely together by one inclusive dream… the desire to share original recipes of homemade pasta that have been served at the family’s kitchen table for decades.
The two generations that truly represent EMMA ROSSI are the original family of four:
Emilio (father), María (mother), Rosita and Simon (children). It’s even in the name!
Family Comes First
Emilio Nobile and Maria Olivo were both born and raised in the town of Brefaro found in the province of Potenza, Italy. They got married in 1930, and like all Italian families do, they brought the tradition of making pasta into their home. They dedicated their lives to creating exceptional pasta, using only the freshest and most unique ingredients.
In 1938, they moved to Caracas, Venezuela. Here, they continued sharing their Italian culture by founding Pastas Capri in 1953 with Maria’s brothers, Juan Pascal Olivo and Andres Blas Olivo. It truly was a family affair, and Pastas Capri soon became a world-renowned company of the pasta industry.
From Generation to Generation the Tradition Lives on!
Their traditions and work ethic were passed down to their children and grandchildren who keep their dream alive today not only in Venezuela, but also in the USA.
As the third generation of the Nobile-Olivo’s Family, the Yamin-Nobile’s Family wanted to share their traditions in America and that’s why they acquired Fiori Bruna in 2008.
Fiori Bruna has been manufacturing home style artisan pasta in Miami Gardens since 1985 and was founded by the Italian born pasta lovers, Cesare Bruna and Romano Fiori.
This combination of passion, recipes, and traditions has evolved and furthered Fiori Bruna’s growth and success over the years. The brand of Emma Rossi was then created in 2020 to honor the Nobile-Olivo family and continue sharing their Italian traditions, culture, and dreams.
